It's time for something totally fun!!
A few months ago, Jessica Levitt emailed me to ask if I would be willing to sew up the Itty Bitty basket out of her new fabric line Cascade, debuting at quilt market! How cool is that? Of course I said yes without hesitation!
Here is Jess' new fabric line Cascade by Windham.
Isn't it pretty? This line is versatile and I can see this working equally well for home decor projects, purses, clothes or quilts. You can see more in the look book here.
I've modified the Itty Bitty Basket tutorial for a triple set of nesting baskets.

Those fabric baskets are so darn cute!! I would have them close to me in the family room to put things in, like my scissors, thread, dental floss, ear buds, remote controls, etc etc!!

I need some for scarves in my bedroom, some for storage in the bathroom, one for a first aid kit for the kitchen, plenty in my sewing room to organise everything, and about half a dozen in my hall cupboard to organise my entire life!
So pretty! I'd make some to organize my "mom-command-center" in the kitchen LOL! :)
I think I'd use my nested baskets for mail. They look great in this fabric!

I would use them for holding all the things I need by my sewing machine and longarm. Then I would have to make more for my granddaughters for all their hair things in the bathroom!

Using the new Cascade fabric line to make a trio of baskets was a great way to show off the fabric. They look wonderful. I would use them to organize my sewing area and my desktop.

I am making the medium basket for Christmas presents. What size corner cut do I make for the bottom and lining.
The same size corner cut is made for all the baskets.
